I.V. And Other Happenings...

  Yesterday I went to i.v. for the first time in quite awhile, I had to tell some people I know about all the stuff the happened to me since last time I saw them. The hospital stay, withdraw, Dystonia, levadopa....I am going to be an Aunt ( they normally ask about Katie too) .
  Wow this year has been a bit extreme, so it seems.

 Now on to something else......
I seem to be falling down too much ( in my opinion) , I think I am either falling asleep or fainting. Mommy thinks it is a seizure type thing.

 I am not sure what to think about it, I still am doing a lot better in my opinion even with the fainting or whatever it is included in the number of seizure things I have it is still way way less than what I was having.

One thing that is incredibly annoying is when people ask me what am I going to do with my new freedom....well I don't really have much change in that , I still am having stuff happen every day , I cannot drive , I cannot walk far, I still fall  ( at random hours of the day) .  Yes I am very much better but I am not completely well.

I know they do not mean to be annoying ...I am just frustrated  with my body , and for some odd reason that question usually leaves me saying " I don't know" , which I probably really should explain how I currently am instead of just " I don't know" , If you want to know why I say it I'll tell you....I feel like a party pooper when I tell people how I am .

  You know ...people are so excited ( I am too) but sometimes I feel like I am a disappointing downer when I am truthful.

As a matter of fact , it is part of the reason I hide stuff from my parents...Not only do I find trips to see the white coated people ( doctors) unpleasant I feel like I am raining on somebody's parade.

 So ...I am doing a LOT better however.......I am not cured.

 On to something else....
I went shopping a bit after I.V. and bought a new dress from Gabes and a white sweater for my church dresses anyway, when I came home I tried on the dress and found that the buttons did not match up with the button holes!!  I really did like the dress so I cut off the buttons and sewed them back on in the proper places, it was not that hard to fix plus the dress was very cheap .  So that was that.

Finished Pants Quilt !!

So today I managed to go to church and ......I finally finished the quilt I was making from old pants. I also made a pillow yesterday from the extra bits.

 I worked on the recycled pants quilt today and I got my sister to take a picture of it .

When I get done with the blanket I hope to get a better picture so you can hopefully see the pockets.

Cloudy Rainy And Wonderfully Green

 Thats  how it is outside right now. I have been sneezing lots. Must be the mold factor outside???

Sewed some more yesterday and my brother will probably buy my quilt from me when I am done.

He is amazed what I did to his pants! I will try to get some help getting photos  as soon as the camera is available, which will not be till Monday, hopefully I will be finished by then anyway.

I really do not have much to say .....I had so many seizures yesterday I lost count.
Basically I have not done anything except sew some and try not to fall down. I have hyperbaric chamber treatments everyday.

That is what it is.

Rainy At The Moment

 At this very moment it is raining and oh how I love the smell!! Spring rain has to be one of my favorite smells,when its warm enough for the windows to be open.

It wasn't rainy all day , just on and off. 

I am rather tired today for no apparent reason except maybe my seizures that I had earlier

I have been cutting a multitude of quit squares from my brother's old pants.
I am planning to make a denim quilt.
Most likely I will have to use some of my old pants too, I have some that are getting past the point of repair.

 I am cutting out the pockets with my squares so it will have pockets I guess, basically I just wanted to try something different.

Sewing, Sun, and My Bearded Dragon

 Today I made a little rabbit and fixed my Dad's pants.....that is not very exciting, It would be more exciting if I could show you the rabbit but I never can remember all the stuff I have to do to find the photo once I take it and everyone is doing something so none can show me right now. I apologize for not being good with electronics.

It was a very sunny day today :)

Also my pet lizard, Prince, who is a Bearded Dragon is shedding and he looks freakishly black underneath. It is funny he tricked my dad into thinking his tail was going to fall off .

Today....

 I did not go to the birthday party, I went to sleep. I was too tired. I did get to pet Zoey dog today which was nice. I don't get to see her very often because she is so big and gets so excited I cannot go out there to see her without anyone around. Also I was off my feet so long, I could not get around in the snow with the walker and only using one leg. Now with my brace things are so much better and I don't need that BLOODY OL' WALKER no more!! :)  I started a sewing project and was falling asleep so I did not get very far.  So that's that .

What I Have Been Doing

 Friday and Saturday I sewed for 15 and a half hours making 2 little bears as gifts. Both people were happy, I am glad :) Sunday I was invited to a going away party and a very good friend of mine was there , though we live somewhat far apart and I have only seen her a handful of times I feel as though we are the best of friends. Through the mail we have shared our trails, hopes, and dreams. She had a seizure one time. She loves me and we just seem to have a deep understanding of each other. I wish I got to see her more often.She likes art like me!!!
  Another thing I wanted to say is that I'm getting a new wheelchair!! We found it on Ebay for a really good deal. It is a convaid type chair with self propelling wheels. The big wheel can come off making it really nice because sometimes my family just pushes me anyway, and it would be easier in a restaurant and stuff.My chair now weighs over 75 pounds and is a bit too big, my legs were too short for the leg rests so Daddy taped blocks of wood on there so my feet would reach. So that is what has been happening.
